Almost Scary

Just wanted to let everyone know that all of the kittens have been adopted! Roy and Buck were adopted together and now there is only Minnie Pearl (the mama cat) left at PetSmart. I still have my fingers crossed for her. A couple of people have asked why anyone is adopting out black cats this time of year and the only answer I can come up with is that the fee for adoption is a hundred dollars. I'm thinking few people would be foolish enough to pay that kind of money and then mistreat the animal.

Here's a photo of my leaf carpet. Looking at it from this angle it's easy to understand why my neighbors might be a little intimidated. A good wind could really stir things up :)

Congrats on the successfull adoptions!

I'm jealous of your beautiful leaves! I want to walk through them, kicking all the way! I'm NOT at all envious of the raking you'll be doing, although I used to love raking leaves and shoveling snow when my joints worked!

So glad the cats are getting adopted. I think the leaves do look quite nice, then again, I'm not your neighbor.

I see Stella looking out at the leaves. I'll bet she's fun to watch when pouncing through them, pursuing hidden treasure.

Your tree is gorgeous! I'll bet the neighbors enjoy it and even take pictures of it.

It's funny, the neighbors have leaves falling too but most of theirs can't be seen from outer space :) I really do look forward to it every year.
